AKB48の渡辺麻友と女優の稲森いずみが、W主演を務めることがわかった。
2人が主演を務めるのは、4月スタートの関西テレビ・フジテレビ系連続ドラマ『戦う！書店ガール』（毎週火曜 後10：00）。ゴールデン・プライム帯（後7：00～後11：00）の連続ドラマで初めて主演に抜てきされた渡辺は「出演が決まったと伺った時は、驚きすぎて信じられませんでした。でもいつかは（GP帯の）連続ドラマで主演をしたいなという夢があったので、まさかこんなに早くお話をいただけるとは…本当に光栄です」と感激している。
